Salvadoran born, I lived part of my childhood in downtown San Salvador during the first years of the El Salvador Civil War. This made me a witness to some of the most important events in my country's recent history. With a background in Marketing and early professional experience mainly in advertising, I delivered my first tour in 2005. That day, I found my true vocation. Last but not least: PUPUSAS! You have to taste them! They are yummy... and I know my pupusas: my family has run a pupusería (pupusa shop) for over 40 years. Basically, pupusas paid for my education! I am highly experienced in diverse tour topics and destinations, including cultural heritage (museums and archaeological parks), history, craft beer tasting, and many off-the-beaten-path spots.
