Welcome to my profile! I'm Alexis and my mission is to consistently deliver five-star services to all of my guests. I pride myself as the #1 service provider in Dominica's tourism sector since 1995 and I've never fallen short of this goal. The quality of my services is mainly due to the numerous fine training workshops and seminars that I've attended in order to be your undisputed service provider of choice. I have considered the cost involved just to get to Dominica, so I pride myself in making the visitor's experience a memorable one. Having worked as a contracted vehicle and tour operator at Ross University (an American offshore university) for 20 years gave me the opportunity to develop as a true representative of the "Nature Isle", Dominica. I've served clients from all over, hence having the chance to interact with and understand different personalities. Discover Dominica Authority, (DDA), the body responsible for marketing and promotions in Dominica, have entrusted me with the responsibility of transporting, guiding and providing services for their VIPs and officials to the World Creole Music Festival (an annual event that attracts crowds in excess of thirty thousand), Jazz & Creole and other national events. I've been serving at cruise ports, ferry terminals, airports, hotels, guest houses and anywhere on the island, and I'm pleased to report that over the years, many of my guests have returned to Dominica and continued to use my services. I've been received many commendations, and it's mainly due to the memorable experiences and pleasant atmosphere present in every tour of mine. All of my vehicles are in excellent condition, extremely comfortable and air conditioned. A guided tour to the Emerald Pool, Trafalgar Falls, Ti Tou Gorge, Whale Watching, Champaign Beach, Hot springs, Boiling lake, Fresh water lake, The Indian River, Fort Shirley, Morne Bruce, Botanical Gardens, Red Rock, Victoria Falls, just to name a few, MUST be an experience to remember. Remember, anyone can be a tour guide or guide driver but not many can do it like Alexis. I'll give you the desire to come back. -Certified Tour Guide since 2000, with Dominica State College and Discover Dominica Authority -CPR and First aid Certification by Dominica Red Cros, 2005 -20 years of experience being a vehicle and tour operator at Ross University (an American offshore University). Most water places that we will go to have water guides on them, so I will accompany you always but I won't be guiding you myself permanently.

Seize the unique opportunity to embrace 4 different manifestations of water in a day. Drive for less than 1 hour up a mountain with panoramic stops along the way. Atop, we'll be 2500 feet above sea level. We'll also visit Dominica's largest lake, where you'll be amazed by the abundance of fresh water and particularly by the mixture of hot and cold water escaping from under the ground. (And yes, it's ok to soak under the warm water!). How can one visit Dominica and not swim at the Gorge? Imagine swimming towards a waterfall! Life jackets would be rented at a very low cost and of course, a trained guide will guide you up the gorge. A truly one of a kind experience! At Trafalgar, you get to see 2 falls in one location. You have the option of being a bit adventurous and climb the rocks to get to the pool or just to stay on the deck and enjoy the best view of nature. The healthy Sulphur water will soak right through your bones and do wonders, especially if you deal with discomforts. You'll walk out revitalized!
Alexis was an amazing guide. He encouraged us to ask questions and look for things we wanted to see. We did so many wonderful things in just a few hours. It was a wonderful experience. We would recommend a tour with Alexis if you want the best!!!
This was the best excursion that we’ve ever done on any cruise. The island of Dominica is absolutely gorgeous! The best part of the tour was our driver, Alexis George. He was born and raised in Dominica and had such an incredible knowledge of the island, especially of the plants. He must have shown us more than thirty different fruit trees along the way. He was also friendly and loved answering our questions! He felt like a family friend by the end of the day. The Titou Gorge was absolutely stunning. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. For best results, bring water shoes, but they aren’t necessary. We also loved Trafalgar Falls. So beautiful! We loved that Alexis accompanied us to the falls and we never felt rushed anywhere. He let us set the pacing we liked. He also was able to time our visits to try and avoid the cruise ship crowd which was really nice. On the way back, we asked him to take us through the botanical gardens where we saw a huge stand of bamboo and the famous Hurricane tree. I can’t recommend this provider enough. Alexis was the perfect guide for us and we’ll definitely try and hire him again when we go back.
This was an excellent, private tour to take with Alexis. While we had an outline of a tour when we started he was very flexible to adjust the plans as the day progressed. With his tremendous knowledge of the island our group of 6 were able to time our stops at quieter times when the larger tour groups were elsewhere. I highly recommend Alexis for your tour of Dominica.
I am a travel agent and have taken multiple private tours on the beautiful island of Dominica. Alexis is by far the best guide I have ever had. He is very professional, yet also friendly. He is extremely intelligent and knows the history and all the interesting facts about the island and the culture. I can not say enough good things about his tour. You can not go wrong. I HIGHLY recommend him.
This is a good tour of the very unique island of Domenica. Swimming to the waterfall in the gorge was the highlight of everyone in our group's vacation. The Trafalgar Waterfall is an amazing site, and the heated pools are enjoyable. Alexis and his driver Sherman are both very knowledgeable, friendly and are good advocates for their homeland. They encourage questions. You can expect rain on this tour (and perhaps every day it rains in the interior of the Island anyway).

-Our tour will beging from the pickup spot, from where we'll drive to Fresh Water Lake. -After arriving to Fresh Water Lake, we will depart to Ti Tou Gorge, which will take us 20 minutes. -Arriving at the Gorge, you will be able to swim there, or just contemplate its beautiful sights, -Around an hour later, we will depart to Trafalgar Falls (approximately 25 minute drive). -Once we arrive, you will be able to swim at the falls, or just take pictures of the striking scenery. -Around an hour later, we would drive to the Hot Springs for approximately 20 minutes. -At arrival, you'll be able to inmerse yourself in the rejuvenating waters or just contemplate them. -After this, we will depart the Hot Springs and drive back to the pickup spot, hence ending the tour.
