Indian River, Red Rocks Park & Chocolate Factory - Dominica Shore Excursion

"I've Got a Jar of Dirt!" Yes, you guested it right, Jack Sparrow was there! And so will you. Take the chance to visit the well known Indian River, one of its many peculiarities being that it's one of the 6 locations where the famous Walt Disney movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" was filmed. You'll feel the discreet yet curious feeling of wanting to go further up the river, where you'll see different species and be able to enjoy local beverages. We'll also go to another location that you might find even more interesting: a site which was formed by clay soil, an exquiste formation and a true sight to see, as the Atlantic ocean crashes into it. Along this way you'll see many villages, beaches and our neighbouring french islands. Get to experience the explosive taste of our very own rich Chocolate too! There's many different flavors and combinations to endulge in. Visit a chocolate factory and get to see the drying, grinding and processing of our chocolates! Come take a detour and let's explore Dominica!

-We'll start this tour once I pick you up from your accomodation, be it a hotel or the cruise ship port. -We'll then drive to Indian River where the Famous Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. -After visiting the Indian River, we'll head back down to the vehicle and drive for about 30mins to the Red rocks, where you'll experience experience breathtaking views and the natural formation of the red soil. -We'll then take a 2 min drive onward to our very own Chocolate Factory where you'll get to taste free samples of a variety of our very own rich dark chocolate. There's also an option to purchase the chocolate of your liking. -Once we've experienced all this, we'll dive into the local cuisine of the island, where we'll stop at a local restaurant for a meal or just a bite to eat along the way. -When you are done and ready, we'll take a drive back to the pickup location and you'll be dropped off, hence finishing our tour. This itinerary could be customized to best meet your specific needs.
