Birds of Paradise Private Birding Tour

We had a great tour with Danny! Weather started out as less than ideal with rain but I think he made it work in our favor. We basically had the Syndicate trail to ourselves where Danny led us to see a lot of parrots, hummingbirds, and other birds while others were waiting it out and were shielded by rain in the forest canopy. We loved the hike and forest - highly recommend!

Danny was a very personable and informative guide. He willingly customized our tour to do extra activities. He has a special interest in the medicinal plants of the rainforest that he gladly shares with you along the walks through the forest. He also has great recommendations for lunch at local restaurants. We would highly recommend Danny as a tour guide.

The tour was very enjoyable, the cruise along the river was lovely, so peaceful being rowed gently along. Danny is a very nice person and took great trouble to show us the sights of the island, by driving and waking. We saw lots of humming birds, plenty of other birds and lizards, iguana etc. Altogether a L super day. Many thanks Danny.

Although the weather was far from ideal, making bird spotting difficult, Danny did his best to work around it by modifying our trip itinerary on the fly. His deep knowledge on medicinal plants was very informative, as I also have a kken interest in ethnobotany.

We had a terrific tour with Danny! We're staying at the Kempinski in Cabrits so we messaged him to organize a personalized tour that didn't originate in Roseau, and he was incredibly responsive. He worked with us to create a tour that met all of our desires, and he went above and beyond by explaining the medicinal purposes of all the wild plants we saw while on our hike. We learned so much throughout our day, and would absolutely recommend Danny for a single or multi-day trip in Dominica!
