Welcome to Dominica! Let's visit the North side of the island driving from the south along the western road and then into the interior of the land to the breaking point (Pont Casse). We'll make our first stop at Spanny Twin falls. A short walk will take us to the first waterfall and then the second waterfall is even more beautiful. From there we continue for the Kalinago Territory to experience the lifestyle of the indigenous people of Dominica. We will then continue towards the north to "Pointe Baptiste Chocolate Factory" . A trip advisor Review of the Dominica Chocolate Factory said: Now I love Chocolate! If you have never been to a chocolate factory, this is a nice one to learn about the process. If you do not like chocolate, this is the place to learn to love it. Their chocolate is soo good. I couldn't get enough and I usually do not like chocolate! I too was very impressed with the quality of their chocolate.
Danny is a fantastic guide! Rainy day so we could not do some of the planned activities. We especially enjoyed learning about all the plants and their medicinal qualities. Danny is a wealth of knowledge on this! We highly recommend Danny and plan to use him again!
Fantastic day of touring Dominica with Danny E. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He suggested a couple of places that weren't on our itinerary - they were great to see, and nice additions to the day. We enjoyed a local lunch at a fun beach restaurant. Danny was excellent with communication prior to and day of the tour. Our group of 3 had such an amazing day. We were provided with unique opportunities. Local flavor combined with waterfalls, fresh fruit, beaches and beautiful scenery. We were in Dominca for one day (we came on a cruise ship) and we saw a little of everything.
