Explore Troodos Mountain on this day trip from Nicosia

The time stands still within the picturesque little villages of the Troodos mountain. Green pine trees and cedars with extreme natural beauty can be seen all year round at an altitude of 1952m above sea level in Troodos mountains. Our first stop of the day will be at Kakopetria which is in the Valley of Solea. There are two watermills, many traditional houses, and a stunning 11 century chapel of St. Nicholas of the Roof(Ay. Nikolaos tis Stegis) which are only some of the many sights in this village. We'll pass by Platres which is on our way to Omodos. The area is known as wine village. Omodos has a beautiful square in the center of the village where you can buy glasswork, lacework from local shops and have your lunch.
