Very helpful guide. Cyprus Museum was closed during our tour so he went out of his way to pick me up the next day and take me to see it. Thanks, Savvas!
We did three tours with Savvas in Cyprus. Savvas did a great job. He is extremely knowledgeable on an array of subjects; history, archaeology, foreign relations, culture, botany and others. Our tours were consistently engaging and interesting. The pace was good and Savvas provided many thoughtful extras to make our time with him special. I recommend Savvas highly.
This was our second tour with Savvas and we had a lovely and informative journey through part of Cyprus from Larnaca to Nicosia. Again Savvas's knowledge was outstanding and he was eloquent in delivery. He seemed to know people in every village. Well worth while indeed.
Savvas is an excellent guide, approachable and easy to communicate. His wealth of knowledge is commendable. He answered all of our questions. The tour was interesting, enjoyable and very well paced. The cultural diversity and beautiful neo classical architecture of south Nicosia was unexpected. Armenian lunch was delicious. The buffer zone filled with remnants of events in 1974. The cross over to south Nicosia was a breeze, no queues! Overall, the history of Nicosia was very interesting.
He was more than knowledgeable and was able to gear the full day tour to our interests. I would recommend him highly to anyone visiting the island.
