I was born in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia. Completed secondary school studies, with particular interest in design and photography. Studied Administrative sciences at University, and after graduating worked for a large company in Ljubljana in their Marketing and Sales department. I remember as a young girl, on our first family holiday, visiting Hvar, with its beautiful scenery, amazing food, beautiful beaches, warm people and a nice smell of lavender and other herbs. Years later, I visited Hvar again with some friends. It remained the peaceful island I had remembered, with stunning scenery and friendly locals. Just the remedy needed for a full time, hard working girl in a very stressful job. Whilst in Hvar I met, and fell in love with a local fisherman, Tonći. We married and decided to live in Hvar. As a young girl, I promised my mother that one day I would return to live in Hvar. My dream has now come true. I still see my beautiful Hvar though the eyes of that young girl, but with a few changes… My years of experience in hospitality combined with the true Croatian passion and tradition will guarantee you a memorable adventure with me. Amazing Hvar is really the only way to describe this magical island. Let me show you and start discovering this unique island full of hidden places, stunning views, magnificent food and wine… Split - Dalmatia County licensed tourist guide - School for design and photography - University for Public administration I am permitted to guide in English, Slovene and Croatian. I have a skipper license, but for boat tour we will have skipper driving us. I do not have any other restrictions in regard to my guiding.

Wanna experience the best of Hvar in one day and see what a Hvar's must-see is thru my eyes? Traditional places make me have a big interest when combined with beautiful views and delicious traditional food paired with great wine. Meeting locals on the way is just a big treat. I do always left the sugar for the end. Could you imagine eating traditional lunch/dinner in one of the village? Discover highlights of privately guided full-Day Hvar tour encompassing scenic views, see the towns of Stari Grad and Vrbovska, try wine tasting (Carić, Duboković or Ventus winery), visit lavender fields (seasonal June - July) and try the Authentic Dalmatian dinner in an ethno-eco village. Picturesque villages are located less than 5 miles (8 km) away from the town of Hvar. Our traditional meal will be prepared in a restored family property.

Urska was fabulous!! Her knowledge and explanation of the history and culture were equaled only by her kindness and willingness to enhance our experience. I highly recommend her and your service.
We wanted to have a local perspective when we came to Hvar and this did not disappoint!!! Urska was a great guide and you can tell she is happy to share her culture and love of the island!! We had a great day, absolutely loved the wine tasting, not just the wine but the "garage" itself making the best small batch wine! But the most special thing was the lunch in the abandoned village, this place and the food were a labor of love and you could feel it and taste it….SPECTACULAR!!
We embarked on our driving tour of Hvar with URSKA We had the best time. There were just 2 of us and we did not want more than 4 hrs. It is not easy for a guide to truncate a longer tour but she accommodated us and took us to hidden areas as well as giving us a wonderful historical overview , together with the lavender areas we wanted to see.
- Pick up from Hvar - Enjoy scenic views of Hvar town, the Spanish Fortress, Pakleni and Vis islands from The French Fortress, on St. Nicholas hill where our tour begins. - Continue through the green island of Hvar, - passing through Brusje, and then - walk through the lavender fields (seasonal options June - July). - Stop for a perfect view of the island's deepest bays. - Approach the fascinating town of Stari Grad. - Continue to the small charming town of Vrbovska. - Wine tasting at one of the best vineyards on the island (either Carić, Duboković or Ventus vinery). - Enjoy the charming abandoned village of Malo Grablje and Velo Grablje. - Our traditional authentic meal with lamb or mixed lamb and veal under the iron bell covered with the ash (octopus or vegetarian meal on request) will be prepared in a restored family property.
