What a wonderful tour guide was Tia in Hvar. She met us when we got off the tender with such a smile and enthusiasm about showing us her city of Hvar. She showed us a large map of the city and their locations. She then had us whisked in a car, both ways, to the top of the fortress built by the Venetians, which was so impressive and had a fantastic view of the city. We had such wonderful explanations and history of this island throughout the years. When we got back to the town, we had a great stroll through the area and streets. One place we visited was the agave lace made in the monastery by a small amount of nuns, which was beautiful. She took us to an historical Opera House, which also was great. Tia is effervescent, friendly, smart, with a great sense of humor. One of our all time favorite guides, and I feel you will think that as well when you have a tour with her.

Hello there traveller, my name is Tea, a local guide on Hvar island. I grew up in Hvar town by my parents who are originaly from Bosnia. They met in Hvar town, fell in love and decided to make a life here. Now I am the one who is in love at this beautifull island and I would like to pass that love on to anyone who is visiting. Hvar is beautiful: lovely beaches, beautiful restaurants, sunsets that take your breath away. If that is your thing, you can experience Hvar just by sitting on the shore and you will most surely enjoy yourself. But, I look at experience Hvar differently. I know Hvar at its core, understand its depth but by traveling I got to know the world as well so I try to combine best what I know from Hvar with global trends.
