Hola, I am a trekking guide, horse rider my whole life and working independent photographer living in south Patagonia Chile. I grew up in east Tennessee and Texas and come south in 2007. I live all year around for the last 16 years in the austral of Magallanes Chile. I grew up pitching tents in the Cumberland Mountains and after 8 years of University I end up in the south of Patagonia where the outdoors are endless and I am doing what I love, living in nature. I am a professional photographer, a gardener, mother to two amazing boys, an outdoor nature guide, I hike and work all year around. I love this land, avid for the environment and social changes in this part of the world. I feel a local as I live breathe and love this land so far away for so long now. My life is here in this special place. I design custom trips to fit your physical activity and personal interests, and offer private excursions during all seasons of the year, off trail and on I offer full hardcore adventure trips to laid back fun full days. Full-day excursions, day trips overland, or long hiking treks, tell me about yourself and what you want to do and see, there is something for everyone and many types of travel experiences. I work & hike all year around in Torres del Paine. Yes, it is cold but I will be offering many treks and options to come see this special place in such an amazing time of the year such as Winter Patagonia. I can offer you many options because I know this place, I have worked as a freelance guide for many hotel and operations here, from Cape Horn to Isla Navarino, fom the Alantic Light houses, there is so much to explore in Magallanes Chile, I'll take you around. Write me with whatever questions! ps If you want to do various outdoor sports, rock climbing, kayaking, horse back riding, mountaineering, or extreme trekking, write for private programs and questions. The airport is open in Puerto Natales and weekly flights are arriving, check with the airlines such as Sky Airline, Lan Chile, and Jet-smart, as well as PUQ in Punta Arenas the Nacional regional airport. In my case I work expedition style as usual, which means on the trekking Circuit 9 days, and the W Hike of 5-6 days, or other desired hikes, we go in very independent. Private driver drops us off at the first camp in a disinfected vehicle and picks us up last day. All foods/meals are prepared & hand selected by myself and carefully pre packed a few days before with the utmost care, I have and take care of my own shared equipment and not rely on the park's services such as used tents, cookware, stoves, all the material and stock we need to survive in the mountain goes with us packed by my porter's a team of 1-3 porters and camp cook who will carry and take care of all the fresh foods and tents and camp supplies needed for whatever days we need in the mountain. The camps will have other travelers unless you are able to hike a bit more demanding, to places where climber camps can be accessed in the high mountain and can assure more privacy, If we are doing a full day or front mountain experience, I rent a clean vehicle that is stable and for privacy. With in the vehicle for transfer standards the drivers and passengers are required to wear masks, in the clean fresh air, once leaving the vehicle the mask is removen. Conaf park rules now at major lookouts if others are there there is a respect to wear the mask. Other wise all precaution is taken. write and ask about various options.
