Benitez Hill - Half Day Trekk to see Cave Paintings

Immerse yourself with me in the breathtaking landscapes of Cerro Benítez, which is located in Chile's Rupestre sector. Among forests of lengas and ñirres, we’ll be privileged witnesses to the passage of time, beautifully reflected in the majestic conglomerate of geological formations. I'll be excited to show you one of the few and wonderful remnants that the Aonikenk culture has left behind in these territories. This is also a great place to spot birds and condors! Most of the year, in this beautiful forest, you'll can have the chance to also spot 3 different species of woodpeckers! This is actually my favourite short hike to do in Puerto Natales surroundings, and can be adapted to a shorter or a longer version according to your preferences.

·After picking you up from your lodging, we'll go on roughly half an hour drive to Cerro Benítez. ·On arrival, we'll begin our hike through the beautiful lengas and ñirres forests. ·We'll then explore the magnificent conglomerate of geological formations and visit the rock art sites of the Aonikenk people. ·Later, we'll enjoy some snacks with the breathtaking views of Laguna Sofía. ·At last, we'll depart from Cerro Benítez and return to Puerto Natales. ·We'll arrive back at your accommodation filled with wonderful memories of the morning exploring the Chilean Rupestre sector.
