Hi, it's Jack D from beautiful and exciting PEI. I am a direct descendant of the first French settlers who came here in 1720. I was born in Summerside and have lived in Charlottetown since 1991. I spent my entire career in customer service and retired as a Regional Manager of the local Lottery Corporation, responsible for a team of sales reps and a retail network of 1200 outlets. I have established myself as a 5 star Certified Professional Tour guide by learning from the best. This being my first touring season with ToursByLocals, you will see that I do not have any previous "ToursByLocals" reviews. However I do have over fifty five * reviews from previous touring seasons with tour companies that have been sold to progressively larger tour companies. Therefore my previous reviews are no longer posted on the internet. I will share three of my reviews for your reference. 1. " Reviewed May 29, 2018 Excellent Private Tour with Jack. We wanted a private tour instead of the tours offered on the Holland America Maasdam. We are happy we booked the Island Scenic Drive with Anne of Green Gables for our group of 5. Our tour guide was Jack and he was great! We went to picturesque beaches, walked through the beautiful Dalvay by the Sea (a great place to stop) as well as a nice stop at the Prince Edward Island Preserve. Jack gave us a a fantastic tour with lots of local information. He even had brought along some muffins! We recommend asking for Jack when you book your tour--you won't be disappointed! Date of experience: May 2018. 10. Reviewed September 11, 2017 2. FantasticTour of PEI We booked a tour pretty much all based on reviews here and many other online sources. Our decision was based on the numerous positive reviews and have to tell you it was way beyond our expectations. The 4 1/2 hour Amazing PEI experience tour, led by Jack, provided us numerous stops, with more than enough time to gather the experience of each one without being rushed. Jack's knowledge of the island, historical facts, and great personality added immensely to the quality of the car travel throughout the day. Hope you get a chance to share the day with Jack Date of experience: September 2017. Reviewed October 15, 2018 via mobile 3. Excellent Operation My wife and I travel a lot, all 7 Continents, and we have visited 60+ countries, many of them multiple times. We have retained numerous Tour Guides, and we haven't found one better than Jack. He is very knowledgeable, thoroughly organized, and is a delight to be with on tour. This is the guide you should retain in PEI. Date of experience: October 2018 When you choose to tour with me I will meet you at your pick up point and ensure that your tour will be one of the best tours you have ever enjoyed. You choose the tour and I will look after everything else. I await the opportunity to make your Prince Edward Island experience come to life.
