My name is Cibele, I am from São Paulo, where I grew up surrounded by the urbanization of a big city. When I turned 18, my family moved to Ubatuba. At first I missed my friends and the city life, then I started surfing, swimming in the open sea, venturing along trails and discovering wonderful beaches and waterfalls. After 4 months, I realized I found my place. I became passionate about my region. I used to ask my friends who came to visit me, to imagine a beach and describe it to me, and I would take them there, and I did, always. As was my childhood dream, I graduated vet, but after 5 years working in my own clinic, I realized that I was not happy and I decided to travel. I went to Australia, Indonisia, and after a year and half I started to work on Cruise Ships. I fell in love with tourism. Meet people from all over the world, discover new places and witness people enjoying life, changed me. I realized that I love being with old people and learn with them and exchange experiences with people of all ages and cultures. Also made me understand about the great tourist potential of my city, Ubatuba, so little explored. Ubatuba has 102 beaches, 28 waterfalls, 20 surf points, 16 islands, dozens of trails that wind through the Atlantic Forest biome, in addition to being rich in history and culture. I became a mother and dedicated myself to raising my daughter. When she grew up enough to have some independence I took a tour guide course to guide in São Paulo state and then to guide in Rio De Janeiro state. Working as guide is a pleasure, see the eyes of tourists shine in front of our landscapes, feel the happiness and peace that only Nature gives and share with tourists the history, culture and curiosities of the places, makes my day. Other place that I am passionate about is Paraty, located 1 hour by car from Ubatuba, it is known worldwide for its historic center: "the most harmonious colonial architectural complex in the world" Paraty was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, being considered the first mixed site in Brazil for its integration between cultural and natural values. It is a magic place, a feast for the senses! My goal is to make every tour, personal and unique, is exceed your expectations. Give me the opportunity to show you all the nature and history that Ubatuba has to offer. All my tours can be customized upon request. Paraty is one of those places in the world where you can have the best experiences in a single tour. History, Culture, Gastronomy, Music, Crafts, Architecture, Tradition…, all this in a paradisiacal setting. Paraty is a feast for the senses! Beautiful colonial city, considered a National Historic Landmark and, since 2019, also a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it preserves its numerous natural, cultural and architectural charms. Paraty has the world's largest set of streets listed by UNESCO. The city was founded in 1667 around the Church of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, its patron saint. It had great economic importance due to the sugar cane mills, being considered a reference for good brandy (cachaça) and for being part of the Estrada Real, called Caminho do Ouro, which was the first road opened by the Portuguese crown for traffic. between the coast and the mining region. This tour is a journey through the history, culture and architecture of Paraty.
