Hello!! My name is Atilio. I am a bachelor in tourism since 2012 and I just became a tour guide in 2026. I've been working with tourism and people since 2007 and in the last 8 years I am living in Ilhabela working for the Tourism Department. I was missing a lot to work directly with tourists and this is why I decided to become a tour guide. I love making connections with people from around the world and showing them the hotspots of the places I know. For me, a tour guide is the one that can show not only tourism attractions, but show the reality of the place and can make visitors feel more connected, creating unforgettable experiences. I love nature, beaches, hiking, culture, music, bikes (a lot!) and, mainly, people. The tours I'm offering are kind of "standards" but if you have a special request, I will be totally able to customize according to your preferences. To finish the experience, we’ll head to one of the beautiful beaches along the southern coast, selected according to the day’s conditions and the best fit for our itinerary. Take your time to relax by the ocean, enjoy a delicious Brazilian lunch at a local restaurant, or simply soak up the sunshine and stunning coastal scenery. Whether you’re drawn to hidden natural treasures, spectacular viewpoints, or the simple pleasure of spending time by the sea, this experience is a wonderful way to discover the wilder, more peaceful side of Ilhabela with a local guide.
Your Ilhabela tour itinerary
We will meet at your accommodation and our route will be as follows: - Piúva Viewpoint; - Pedras Miúdas Beach (Ilha das Cabras); - Portinho Beach; - Praia Grande Beach; - Paquetá Waterfall; - Relax at the beach (Curral, Praia Grande, Portinho or Pedras Miúdas beach). As with every ToursByLocals tour, this tour is of course customisable. Please contact me using the green 'message your guide' button and we can manage it. This tour does not include a stop for lunch. The tour finishes at one of the southern beaches of the Island where you will have your free time to have lunch and relax.
