Hello!! My name is Atilio. I am a bachelor in tourism since 2012 and I just became a tour guide in 2026. I've been working with tourism and people since 2007 and in the last 8 years I am living in Ilhabela working for the Tourism Department. I was missing a lot to work directly with tourists and this is why I decided to become a tour guide. I love making connections with people from around the world and showing them the hotspots of the places I know. For me, a tour guide is the one that can show not only tourism attractions, but show the reality of the place and can make visitors feel more connected, creating unforgettable experiences. I love nature, beaches, hiking, culture, music, bikes (a lot!) and, mainly, people. The tours I'm offering are kind of "standards" but if you have a special request, I will be totally able to customize according to your preferences. If I'm not available in the system, please contact beacuse and maybe I can reschedule my dates. Let's go?

Discover Ilhabela on a relaxing bike ride along the coastal path between the ferry terminal and the historic center. Enjoy the ocean breeze as we pass beautiful beaches, sparkling blue waters, and breathtaking scenery, with stops for photos and sightseeing. Along the way, we’ll discover historic buildings and landmarks that reveal fascinating stories about the island’s past. Experience Ilhabela like a local as we explore its coastline at an easy pace. I will share insights into the island’s history, culture, and lifestyle, offering a unique perspective on this beautiful Brazilian destination. It’s the perfect way to combine outdoor activity, local history, and unforgettable ocean views. Bikes are included on the tour price and the whole route has, approximately, 15 kilometers.
We will meet at Pereque Beach and our route will be as follows: - Pereque Beach; - Itaguassu Beach; - Itaquanduba Beach; - Engenho D'água Beach; - Fazenda Engenho D'água (historic building); - Pequeá Beach; - Saco da Capela Beach; - Historical Center; - Cable-stayed Bridge; - Ferry; - Fish Market (Pereque Beach) - End of the tour. As with every ToursByLocals tour, this tour is of course customisable. Please contact me using the green 'message your guide' button and we can manage it. This tour does not include a stop for lunch. The tour finishes at the Fish Market, where you'll have opportunity to taste a very good local dish. I will be happy to recommend you my favorites.
