This is a tour through the Province of Misiones, Argentina. With much of the historical roots of this region. Where there was a utopian society that lasted for 150 years, leaving many lessons. And Misiones is the second smallest province in Argentina and has international borders with Brazil and Pargauay and its main tourist attractions are the Iguassu Falls, his Jesuit ruins. But we can not fail to mention Moconá Falls. During this tour we meet plantations of yerba mate who is a national drink of Argentina, green tea and many small towns founded on the banks of the Parana River. Let's make this visit through this tunnel of time that are the Guarani Jesuit Ruins.

Marcelo was knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed talking to him! Meanwhile the ruins were kind of out of the way, but real interesting! I always love learning a bit of the history of places I visit. If you've got a day to spare and don't mind long car rides I'd definitely recommend this tour!
This was our third tour (out of three) with Marcelo, and we are glad we have booked all of our tours with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, well organized, very professional, friendly, well organized, and very accommodating. On this tour, he took us to all three jesuit missions in the San Ignacio area, and he provided a lot of relevant information. We had to drive a long distance to get there, but it was totally worth it. We can't say it enough: book you tours with Marcelo, you will not regret it!
We had an incredible day with Marcelo! He is very knowledgeable and eager to share! We enjoyed all his information about nature and culture! It's incredible how much he knows. Spending the day at the Jesuit ruines gave us greater insight into the province and the indigenous from the area. We loved it. Thank you Marcelo.
Marcelo was a very interesting guide! His passion for birds, languages and any other intellectual pursuits really added to our day particularly since the Missiones tour is a bit of driving. He was very knowledgeable about the Missiones and kept the day moving smoothly. His English is very good and he is very comfortable to spend the day with and learning from. We appreciate him making our day in Iguazu going to the Missiones a great part of our trip and would definitely recommend him to others!
We wanted to view the old Jesuit missions of Argentina. San Ignacio ruins were very interesting. It is a bit of a drive there from Iguazu, so you must be motivated to see them. We elected not to continue to some of the others (the heat got to us!). The Wanda Mines are interesting, learning about the mining of amethysts. Not sure I'd make a trip just for it, but it was a nice stopover enroute to San Ignacio ruins. Our guide, Marcelo, was very accommodating and flexible--highly recommend him!
