Cities and towns in these countries share a historical connection that traces back to the Guarani past and the establishment of the Jesuit Missions. The history of these places recalls a common origin: Guarani communities led by Jesuit priests. It was a territory where indigenous people lived and coexisted, later joined by Correntino, Paraguayan, Brazilian criollos, and subsequently, immigrants from Europe. Let's embark on a journey through time, exploring the rich tapestry of cultures and histories that have shaped these regions.
We will depart early from the hotel. After covering 40km, we will make a stop to enjoy and explore the Wanda Mines, a precious stone deposit. Once finished, we will continue our journey to San Ignacio Mini (200km), where we will marvel at the Jesuit Reductions. Upon completion, we will return to Iguazu.
