Native Guaraní blood runs through my veins. I was born and grew up in a region where the natural and cultural environment is saturated with the scent of trees, the taste of wild fruit and the whispers of age-old Guaraní legends. My connection to the environment and my desire for continuous education allow me to convey and share with visitors —from my vocation as a tour guide— the type of life experiences that invite them to live the town's slower pace and thus, explore those ancient native tales brought by the wind. Living in a region with so many ancestral traditions, where music and typical foods are made with ingredients inherited from generation to generation, awakened in me the passion for cooking, which became the hobby that to this day I love to share with friends and visitors, turning them into part of my family, since sharing the table with the sacred ritual of the barbecue, brings us closer as people. The Iguaçu National Park in Brazil offers a fantastic panoramic view of the falls from a 14-block path that allows you to appreciate the horseshoe where the San Martín, Mbygua, Bernabe Mendez, Bosetti and Dos Hermanas waterfalls are located. After 10 minutes of walking, we will find falls that are located on the Argentine side, but can only be seen from the Brazilian side: the Rivadavia waterfalls, an excellent view to understand the geological formation of the rocks and the tectonic foult that gives rise to the Iguazú falls. We will also reach a privileged view of the majestic Devil's Throat, a set of falls in the main canyon, where by means of a pedestrian bridge we'll walk until we are surrounded by the sacred energy of my ancestors, to receive their blessings through the wet breeze and the colors of the rainbow. To end on a high note, we'll reach the balcony of the Floriano waterfall, from where we will take the elevator that will take us to the last balcony to appreciate an unparalleled landscape.
·Our tour will begin with a pick-up from where you're staying, which in case of being on the Argentine side, we'd need to go through the Argentinian migration office. ·After completing the necessary procedures (if any), we will cross the border through the Tancredo Neves international bridge that connects the city from Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, with the city of Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. ·Once in the country, we will also do the pertinent migration procedures in this country, and then move to the visitor center of the Iguaçu National Park and start our visit. ·On arrival to the National Park, we'll walk for 10 minutes towards a viewpoint to marvel at the Rivadavia waterfalls. ·What follows is another viewpoint of Devil's Throat, passing through a bridge. ·At last, we'll get to the Floriano waterfall and take a lift to see Devil's Throat from above. ·Once the experience is over, we'll start the return to your accomodation.
