I was born in Northern Patagonia, Bariloche city, raised between the mountains and the magical Andean Patagonian forest where I started wondering around when I was a child. Later in time, I had the opportunity to visit almost every edge of the Patagonia Region: from the Atlantic sea, across the Andean Range and to the Pacific Sea. Five years ago I had the chance to visit the southernmost area from this region, which was the moment in which I decided I wanted to work and live in the mountains. Nowadays, I have a hybrid lifestyle in which I spend some months of the year working in Northern Patagonia with Andesitica Adventures, some months in El Chalten, and hopefully some months travelling to other mountains that I haven't been to. I am truly passionate about nature, mountains and the native culture from Patagonia. I will always do my best to preserve the places we visit while we enjoy and imbibe their essence. Feel free to ask for a customized tour including hiking, camping, and more! I am currently working at Bariloche . For guided tours at El Chalten please contact me to check my availability to travel.

Located 11-mile out-and-back route from El Chaltén, this hike takes us through lenga forests and glacier-fed rivers in this iconic valley, with dramatic views of the rocky slopes, the Marconi Pass, and the northern Fitz Roy massif. A must-see stop is Piedra del Fraile, a historic mountain refuge where we will have lunch. Farther along, Lago Eléctrico offers stunning turquoise water and quieter Patagonian scenery away from the busier Fitz Roy trails. This is a moderate-difficulty hike covering about 12 miles round trip with 660 feet of elevation gain. The trail consists mostly of gradual forest paths and muddy sections, especially after rain. The average time of the tour is 6 hours.
-Pick up at your accomodation, we check gear and take a ride to the beggining of the trail. -We start our hike at Rio Electrico getting gradually into the native forest through a pleasant path. -We continue for 1 hour and a half until we get to Piedra del Fraile mountain hut. -Here we can stop for having a snack and use the toilet. - We continue for 45 extra minutes and reach the Electric Lake, area where we can notice the vastness of this valley and probably feel the Patagonian wind... -We start our way back following the same path. -We get to the beggining of the trail and ride back to your accomodation.
