Samboja Lodge 2 Days 1 Night
Spend a night at Samboja Lodge, located one hour from Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. This area is strictly for the orangutans survival foundation, which has been developing since 1992 in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. Today at Samboja Lodge has about 185 orangutans that been released into 6 islands around the Samboja Lodge are re-forestation and protection rainforests. Join feeding time activity with Lodge's staff, observe the borneo orang-utans and sun bear around the lodge.
DAY 01 BALIKPAPAN - SAMBOJA LODGE
Transfer to the lodge for about 1, 5 hours. Arrive and check-in, see the afternoon feeding time of orangutan. Return to the lodge and enjoy the atmosphere of lodge.
Dinner and accommodation provide at Lodge.
DAY 02 SAMBOJA LODGE - BANGKIRAI HILL - BLACK RIVER - BALIKPAPAN
Breakfast at lodge, at 08. 00 am joining with Sun Bear facilitator for feeding time activity. Continue to the office tower, in this place you will have a lot of information about the project of Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. Return to the lodge for lunch time.
Continue to the Bangkirai Hill, entrances the forest through the track step for investigate any kind of flora and fauna of borneo rain forest. There is Canopy Bridge which is connecting between the trees, about 30 meters from ground with 64 meter.
Continue to the Black river, we will start our trip with a canoe to find any wild proboscis monkey. Visiting some fisherman village. TOUR END.
