Hello! Thanks for coming to check out my info! My name is Laura. I am a Chicagoland native, but I've been in Florida for almost 19 years. Saint Augustine has become my home away from home and my true love. Being a tour guide is my passion and brings me such joy. I am a St Augustine certified licensed guide. I also spend time in our research library with the Historical Society to dig deeper, as I always crave more information. That passion is even stronger for the guests I interact with and spend time with. I am a total people person! Which is why I love Tours by Locals as all the tours are private; therefore it is a relationship between guide and guests, as opposed to other places where you are herded in large groups and just a number or a passive participant in a lecture. Here you are an active participant. And your satisfaction is my top priority. On that note, I'd also like to mention that I am open to customization of your tour, if you have any specific area of interest that is not covered here already, or a location or theme you would like visited or to gain knowledge of. What a great tour ! Laura is a wealth of knowledge paired with a relaxed, happy personality that made for a wonderful morning in St Augustine. Laura was very flexible with our interests and our questions throughout the tour. I would highly recommend Laura if you are interested in a tour of St Augustine.

Laura provided us with an excellent tour customized to see hidden parts of St. Augustine we had not seen on previous visits. My husband and I are 80 and although we are quite fit for our age, Laura paced the tour so that it was interesting but not too taxing.
