Originally from Portland, Oregon, I fell in love with Alaska during a January trip in 2019 and made Fairbanks my permanent home the following summer. My journey in local tourism began as a shuttle driver transporting guests to an Aurora destination, where I quickly discovered my passion for sharing local history and stories along the route. Since then, I have guided tours across Alaska, constantly acquiring books along the way, and learning everything I can about this amazing state.
