I am a private tour guide based in Basel, Switzerland, with 6 years of guiding experience in Basel, the surrounding three-country region, and the Swiss Alps. My tours combine local history, culture, architecture, food, Jewish heritage and Basel’s unique position at the meeting point of Switzerland, France and Germany. I guide city walks, culinary tours, Jewish heritage tours, family-friendly experiences and tailor-made day trips to the Black Forest, Alsace and the mountains. My background is a little unusual: I am Israeli-German, living in Switzerland with my young family, and I originally studied Environmental Sciences. That gives me a broad perspective — from history and identity to landscapes, nature and the way people live in this region today. What I love most about private guiding is the chance to create personal, meaningful experiences. I enjoy taking guests beyond the obvious sights and introducing them to places with real local character — small producers, family-run businesses, beautiful landscapes, quiet corners and stories that are not always found in guidebooks. I work with adults, children, families, couples, cruise travelers and private luxury clients. Whether we are exploring Basel’s Old Town, tasting local specialties, discovering Jewish history, or hiking in the Alps, I adapt the tour to the guests in front of me and aim to make the day relaxed, authentic and memorable.
