Hi there! Welcome to Guimarães and Braga, Portugal. My name is Fernanda. In the past I have studied Tourism and worked as a hotel receptionist for 6 years in Oporto. I then returned to University and got a Bachelor's degree in Portuguese/Latin/Greek and became a teacher. Ten years ago I decided to become a stay-at-home mom so that I could devote my time to my children and family. Now my children have grown up, and I decided to return to the work force. So here I am! I like talking to people and I have enjoyed visiting cultural sites and monuments ever since I was a child. I especially like to communicate with people from other countries and cultures. Finally, Braga and Guimarães are two towns I know really well. For many years I studied in both Braga and Guimarâes, and I also worked for years in Guimarâes. I would be happy to be your personal tour guide as I have done so many times for my overseas friends. I would love to take you to popular places as well as places unknown to the average tourists.
