Guide #33733
"Hola", I am Armando, a passionate of history, archeological sites, museums, old artifacts and buildings. Nevertheless, it wasn't until recently that I was able to take a master in Mexican History. And after a while being involved in archive research to restore and rescue colonial buildings, now I found it hard to refrain myself from showing everyone the hidden stories behind monuments, historical sites, and old city spots that are normally overseen, even by locals. Still about myself: Read books and watch documentaries about science and history, watch and hear news about world current events, mountain biking, and hearing stories from people with different cultural backgrounds, are my personal hobbies. After introducing mysef, I trully hope you could take a minute or two looking into my tours descriptions, I am sure you'll be surprise of what you could learn about the ancient roots of Mexico, trying to understand the current one. I hope we could meet soon. Master degree in Mexican History by the Latin American University (2002-2004). History research coordinator for the restoration of colonial buildings (San Miguel de Allende 2009-2011).

My family and I all learned a lot on our pyramid tour with Armando. His presentation was both interesting and informative. He clearly has a depth of knowledge of history which he enjoys sharing with others. We would gladly go on other tours with Armando on future visits to Querétaro.

Thanks again Bess, for your comments about the tour. I'll be glad to be your host again, I'm sure you'll learn more about the long and complex history of Mexico and Querétaro.
A wealth of knowledge from a tour guide that has a background in history. The museum was closed for repairs, but we pivoted wonderfully to explain how this pyramid came about and which ancient culture probably built it. Very very enjoyable with the tour guide that has an abundance of passion

Thank you very much for your comment Scott, and thanks again for choosing my tour. I hope you learned something, a little bit about the pre-Hispanic history of this country. Saludos.
Armando is a truly amazing guide. He is really knowledgable not only about Queretaro, but Mexico's history, so he connects a lot of dots all along the tour. We did not even feel it was 4 hours long. Such a great experience. There was also felxibility from him to adjust the beginning of the tour to a time that better suited us.

Absolutely brilliant! We have used private guides all over the world. This was one of the best ever. Armando was flexible around timing and very responsive to messages. We had a 4 hour walking tour and learnt an incredible amount about Mexican history as well as about Queretaro. Armando is passionate about history and clearly very well read. The result is a...
