We enjoyed his stories almost as much as the sights we toured! We toured two fascinating villages, went on a beautiful beach as well as enjoyed a wonderful local lunch. Andy has three suggested tours. We chose the one that took us to the southern shore of the island to see some beaches, but mostly to see the Sukarara weaving village and the traditional Sasak village. We find that meeting the local people gives us a better understanding of the countries we visit. The beaches are beautiful, but hard to walk on as every step sinks deep...

Our guide Andy Lalu was fabulous in providing details on what we could do on each island and providing commentary on Lombok and Indonesia. Our boat driver and snorkeling guide Gi was also fabulous.
