Overview of your Lombok tour
Meru temple is holding the predicate as the biggest temple in Lombok Island. The building is having quite a unique temple architecture, which is a Meru with a storied roof. Based on history, the temple was built in the 18th century by 33 villages in Lombok. Best Cultural Heritage Site of ancient Narmada Water Palace, constructed by the King of Mataram in 1805, is a replica of Mount Rinjani summit and Crater Lake. The old king built this palace when he was no longer able to climb the 3, 726 Rinjani mountain.
