We asked David to show us around the countryside outside of our cruise stop in Montpelier. The variety of locations was excellent. David is knowledgeable about history, architecture and nature. If you want to get away from the "normal" city tours, David is your go-to person! He was extremely knowledgeable with the areas around Montpellier describing the history of this region. A beautiful picnic lunch by a lake was provided with wine too! What's not to love! At times, David's presentation was hard to understand due to his French accent but he used his cellphone...

We were picked up from our cruise and took a road trip to discover the countryside beyond Montpellier to visit a small and interesting medieval village. The natural beauty of southern France was a treat. and our picnic at Salagou Lake was a special event. David was a great guide that offered us a special day.
