Mr H. , licensed tour guide for the region of Istria, outdoors man and a local connoisseur of history, food and unusual places. Born and raised in Slavonia, the continental part of Croatia, and moved to Istria in the '90. I have had the opportunity to work in tourism for the last 15 years, mostly in marketing for high profile companies but also the Croatian National tourist Board - the main national tourism promoting organization. In the last five years I am leading tours throughout Croatia, including walking, food and leisure tours but also hiking and cycling tours. I am extremely fond of my home region of Istria because of it's incredible history, beautiful nature and mild climate. Our tour guide, Hrvoje, was outstanding! He customized our day to help my husband explore where his family was from and his extensive knowledge of the region was so helpful! We learned so much from him about the history of Pula and its historic sites as well as other local towns. Our full day tour was worth every penny!

"H" was a great guide for our walking trip. He has an excellent command of English and pointed out all the key historical facts on our tour. Would recommend "H" for anyone looking for a quick tour of the highlights of Pourec.

Our tour of Istrian hill towns (Grozjan and Motovun) also included wine tasting at a great vineyard and a visit to Porec. The tour was conducted by Hrvoje R. 'H' is an extremely personable and knowledgeable guide and a great ambassador for this interesting and unique and beautiful part of Croatia/ Europe.
