We drive along the coastal road To Quriyat with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. This tour offers a drive to: (Sink Hole) is a lovely place to swim or just dip your feet in for a fantastic free fish spa as it contains many "doctor fish". (Wadi Shab) is one of the amazing Oases full of palms and banana trees in the middle of a rocky gorge. We reach the pools after a delightful 40 minutes walk through the wadi where we can swim to the hidden cavern. (Turtle sanctuary in Ras Al Jinz) Here we will go on a guided beautiful walking tour on the beach at night under the stars, where we have a high chance of seeing Oman's great sea turtles stumbling on to the beach to build a nest and lay their eggs. The season for turtle is from May to September. (Wadi Bani Khalid) comprises of small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water. (Wahiba Sands) where you take part in an adventurous 4×4 Sand-dune drive to experience the a real desert feeling.
Day 1 From Muscat, we depart by 4WD to Ras Al Jinz via the scenic and rugged coastal route. This tour offers a drive to the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. Once we finish, we go straight to Wadi Shab and enjoy a walk through the wadi, as well as a refreshing swim in those pools. After a set menu lunch at Wadi Shab Resort, we continue to Ras Al Jinz, a sanctuary for turtles. Day 2 Enjoy breakfast at the Turtle reserve. 8 am. We proceed to visit Wadi Bani Khalid. It comprises of small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water. It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes. then move to the Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand. Set menu lunch will be served before returning to Muscat at 5 pm. Notes: Never approach turtles emerging from the sea or disturb nesting Turtles. Using the flashlight is prohibited. Never leave waste on the beach. Carry only one small overnight bag.
