Hi I'm Claudia! I was born in Bolzano - South Tyrol (Italy), but have also lived for over a decade in the United States. I have 15+ years in the travel industry and since 2017 I'm a licensed tour guide with experience that ranges from the US to Europe. Following my experience as a Tour Guide in the States, I moved back to Bolzano and opened my company and since I'm passionate about food & wine it was pretty clear that the focus of my tours would be to offer unique eno-gastronomical experiences in Bolzano and South Tyrol. I am also very passionate about our history and culture and therefore I also offer cultural and historical walks & tours. I love to introduce to travelers my city, my region, its controversial history and culture, all through our unique and diverse food and wine traditions. There's nothing better than food to tell a story about a place! What I like about my customers, is to see that at the end of my tours, wether is a food or a cultural tour, they are happy, intrigued and that they've discovered a deeper interest in the area. All of my tours and services mentioned here can be customized to your needs. I look forward to meeting you and showing this beautiful part of Italy, as I a usually say, a tasting at a time! Government issued Tour Guide license - Autonomous Province of South Tyrol B.A. in Marketing and Tourism - Ca' Foscari University (Venice) M.A. in Food & Wine - IUSVE University (Venice) Tour Guide School - Istituto Einaudi per il Turismo (Bolzano) No restrictions apply to my tours

On this tour you'll get the chance to experience the city through its diverse gastronomy and culture. Nothing better than food tells a story about a place! I'll take you to popular places with locals - and where I go! -, off the beaten path spots, to really give you the opportunity to soak into our way of eating, drinking and ultimately of living! Between tastings and admiring the historical center and its major sights, I'll fill you in on the town's history as well as what Bolzano has become today. All tastings, 5 in total, are traditional foods, produced by local businesses, representing with authenticity our town and South Tyrol. South Tyrolean Food is traditionally not vegan friendly, however if advised well in advance I can adjust the tastings with vegetarian options. Please let me know of any special requests you might have. From the end of November to the beginning of January, I run the tour in the afternoon with an included visit to the Christmas Market. Tastings will also reflects the seasonality.
