Hi I'm Claudia! I was born in Bolzano - South Tyrol (Italy), but have also lived for over a decade in the United States. I have 15+ years in the travel industry and since 2017 I'm a licensed tour guide with experience that ranges from the US to Europe. Following my experience as a Tour Guide in the States, I moved back to Bolzano and opened my company and since I'm passionate about food & wine it was pretty clear that the focus of my tours would be to offer unique eno-gastronomical experiences in Bolzano and South Tyrol. I am also very passionate about our history and culture and therefore I also offer cultural and historical walks & tours. I love to introduce to travelers my city, my region, its controversial history and culture, all through our unique and diverse food and wine traditions. Through legends and myths, learn about the ancient language and culture of the Ladini people, whose origins go back to even before the time of the Roman conquest. Your Bolzano tour itinerary
1. Lago Di Carezza: stop to admire its emerald green waters, and views of the Dolomites Latemar Mountains 2. Vigo di Fassa: We drive on the Great Dolomites Road, and reach Val di Fassa, known as the Land of Salvans. Stop in the village of Vigo and visit the Museum of Ladin culture 3. Stop in a local Farm for a tasting of local products (cold cuts, cheeses, 1 glass of wine, water) 4. Passo Pordoi, Italy: We cross the border with Veneto and drive up to a steep and winding road, reaching the Pordoi Pass (7345 feet ). Free time to take the cable car and reache 9678 feet. From the panoramic terrace, enjoy a 360-degree view over all the major peaks of the Dolomites. 5. Passo Sella: drive up to the Sella Pass, for some amazing views of the Sassolungo (10,436 feet), the most famous mountain in Gardena Valley. 6. Ortisei: We reach Ortisei, the beautiful mountain village located in Gardena Valley, famous for its centuries old wood carving tradition. Discovery walk and some free time and return to Bolzano.
