Visiting DC, especially if you're a first-time visitor, it's likely that DC's world-famous monuments and memorials will be at the top of your must-see list. Many of the monuments and memorials are open 24-hours a day, 365-days-a-year. These include the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, National World War II Memorial, the FDR Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and other. The Washington Monument which is 555 ft tall, is situated at the National Mall and overlooks the Capital City panorama and its Epic Historical milestones.

Let me start by saying that we haven't had a family vacation in over 15 years, so it was great to have everyone together in a first place and Michael made experience x10 better. You can tell when the person is truly passionate about what they do, and Michael definitely cares deeply about history and architectural beauty of Washington. Tour was one continuous story about the capital city, not just a list of facts and dates. In short 4 hours we were able to learn a lot and get a new appreciation for DC.
