Greetings from Stowe, Vermont! I have been working and skiing in Stowe for over 30 years and offering private tours since 2015. I moved to Stowe after university. My wife and I first met when we were both working as ski tour guides in the Austrian Alps. We returned to Stowe and have raised our two children here. Vermont. Break it down in French: Verde + Monte = Green Mountains, which is what Vermont is known for. Stowe is on the spine of the Green Mountain range and the home of Vermont's tallest mountain and ski resort. Known for outdoor recreation, in summer that might be hiking, biking, tennis, and fishing, golf, sailing, swimming or maybe just relaxing in nature. Winter will find us playing in the snow. Vermont is known for its winter sports; skiing, snowshoeing, skating, ice climbing, sledding or fat biking. And don't forget Fall Foliage. If you time it right, you will see the most beautiful fall colors. Great time of year to be outside. Whatever the season or whatever the reason, I continue to enjoy introducing people to Vermont. I offer a variety of private tours and will always be willing to customize something to better fit your desires. I restarted my tour business with mountain biking. Having been a ski instructor for a while, I saw the same need to introduce people in a safe and efficient way to mountain biking. Like skiing, mt biking is not intuitive, what your body wants to do isn't always the safest or most effective. I have great success with new riders and am more than happy to show more advanced riders our network of trails. Did you know that beer is the second most popular beverage in the world, tea is the first. (water wins, but isn't considered a beverage;) Vermont is home to some of the best craft breweries in the world and we are fortunate to have many very close by. Brewery tours became a perfect fit after a morning biking. Most people will do one or the other, but a great day is to combine them. Due to my scheduling conflicts, tours will be offered on request and hopefully I can fulfill on that :) I look forward to meeting and showing off my hometown! Certified Mountain Bike Instructor Professional Ski Instructors of America Tours are offered on a request basis. Please get in touch with date(s) and I will do my best to accommodate.
