Hi! My name is Kim, and I've been a hiking guide in this area for 30 years, probably longer than you've been alive! I think being a hiking guide is the best job in the world: the beauty of nature, super interesting people, the sun, the clouds, the scenery, and everything else that makes the Great Outdoors great. I especially love Zion National Park and I would love to show it to you, since you and I are on a "middle-name" basis. Of course, you can't be a guide for 30 years without getting to know a thing or two about this area. I've studied the geology, biology, and history of this area extensively, and I want to share it with you, along with the 300 jokes that I've memorized. I've hiked and explored Zion at least a gazillion times, and possibly 1. 5 gazillion, so I think I know the area fairly well. I've come as a guide for 2 different local destination spas, and Road Scholar (a bus/hiking tour company mostly for seniors) where I worked as the geology instructor and trail guide. Being out on the trail is what I live for and I hope you give me a chance to share all of that with you! I have all the necessary permits, insurances, licenses, etc. necessary, as well as first aid and CPR certification All guiding services are restricted to certain trails, though these happen to be the most popular trails in the park.

Weather advisory: Winter in Bryce can be challenging, snow is plentiful and temperatures can be very cold! This driving and hiking tour includes Zion and Bryce National Parks, two of the most incredible landscapes in the world! This is for those with limited time, or those who prefer a more relaxed experience. We will visit two different, totally breathtaking National Parks, travel to amazing viewpoints within each, and take a short, easy hikes at both National Parks with incredible scenery. This tour is ideal for groups!
We will meet at the Zion National Park Visitors' Center, then drive through the central canyon. Then it is off to the East Side for a one-mile tunnel, Canyon Overlook Trail, Checkerboard Mesa, and incredible scenery and maybe even some big-horn sheep! After that we will drive to Bryce and see unbelievable colors and rock formations from several viewpoints, and even take a short hike along the rim. Our last stop is Zion again, this time the West Side so see blood-red cliffs in the evening light, a stunning view! There is also a short, easy hike along a ridge for even better views. Finally we will drop you off at your vehicle at the end of a long and beautiful day!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
