Hi! My name is Kim, and I've been a hiking guide in this area for 30+ years, probably longer than you've been alive, and longer than 99.9% of all the guides in Zion, Bryce and Snow Canyon! I love this job so much that I have over 260 5-star reviews, across the internet! I think being a hiking guide is the best job in the world: the beauty of nature, super interesting people, the sun, the clouds, the scenery, and everything else that makes the Great Outdoors great. I especially love Zion and Bryce National Parks as well as Snow Canyon State Park and I would love to show it to you, since you and I are on a "middle-name" basis. Of course, you can't be a guide for 30 years without getting to know a thing or two about this area. I've studied the geology, biology, and history of this area extensively, and I want to share it with you, along with the 300 jokes that I've memorized. I've hiked and explored Zion, Bryce and Snow Canyon at least a gazillion times, and possibly 1. 5 gazillion, so I think I know the area fairly well. I've come as a guide for 2 different local destination spas, and Road Scholar (a bus/hiking tour company mostly for seniors) where I worked as the geology instructor and trail guide. Being out on the trail is what I live for and I hope you give me a chance to share all of that with you! I will take you to locations that are stunningly gorgeous, such as two lava tubes, Moki Marble Hill (google "Martian Blueberries"), etc. I will also take you to locations that very few people know of, including two slot canyons, an oasis called "Heavenly Hell, " movie locations, a sandstone window, a baby arch, pioneer graffiti, and more. Kim was incredible. The Snow Canyon hike with him was more than just a half day hike. He will tell you about St George, history and geology of the canyon, and keep you laughing throughout the hike. This was the perfect start to our trip before heading to Zion, and I would highly recommend using him as your guide.

Your St George tour itinerary
Bring additional snacks if desired. Bring sunscreen and hat. Definitely bring water! We will meet at the trailhead at 7:00 AM to beat the heat! I will send the coordinates and you can find the location on a GPS app. We will first cross to see an arch in the making, hike to see pioneer names written with axle grease on a rock wall, then off to one or two slot canyons, depending on the capability of the guests. At the halfway point we will stop for a light snack and rest. We can visit two lava tubes and even enter one. Then off to a spectacular location for an opportunity for some trick photography. Approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours later complete hike. Finish before noon. Return to hotel/vacation rental for a well deserved rest and time to collate remembrance photos!
