Kim (William) was just fantastic! Would highly recommend. We toured a half day of Zion National Park with him. We took the shuttle ourselves in the morning and then he spent the afternoon showing us other areas that were accessible by private vehicle. So glad we did the shuttle in the morning, because we would have thought we were missing something if we hadn't seen the canyon for ourselves. He took us to more private, beautiful places and explained about the geology, plant life and the different creatures found in the desert. Make no mistake; if you want a guided tour of the canyon, he will go on the shuttle with you and take the hikes you would enjoy and will certainly cover everything you could want. Plus, he has a great sense of humor and obviously loves his job! A wonderful experience!

Hi! My name is Kim, and I've been a hiking guide in this area for 30+ years, probably longer than you've been alive, and longer than 99.9% of all the guides in Zion, Bryce and Snow Canyon! I love this job so much that I have over 260 5-star reviews, across the internet! I think being a hiking guide is the best job in the world: the beauty of nature, super interesting people, the sun, the clouds, the scenery, and everything else that makes the Great Outdoors great. I especially love Zion and Bryce National Parks as well as Snow Canyon State Park and I would love to show it to you, since you and I are on a "middle-name" basis. Of course, you can't be a guide for 30 years without getting to know a thing or two about this area. I've studied the geology, biology, and history of this area extensively, and I want to share it with you, along with the 300 jokes that I've memorized. I've hiked and explored Zion, Bryce and Snow Canyon at least a gazillion times, and possibly 1. 5 gazillion, so I think I know the area fairly well. I've come as a guide for 2 different local destination spas, and Road Scholar (a bus/hiking tour company mostly for seniors) where I worked as the geology instructor and trail guide. Being out on the trail is what I live for and I hope you give me a chance to share all of that with you! I have all the necessary permits, insurances, licenses, etc. necessary, as well as first aid and CPR certification All guiding services are restricted to certain trails, though these happen to be the most popular trails in the park.

Kim was so much fun! His kindness and humor put us right at ease after the drive up from Las Vegas. Kim was very accommodating of our party’s timeline and limited mobility and it made everything stress free! He took us to the start of The Narrows - we will definitely go back and hike it. Then we hiked 1/3 of the way to Angels Landing - You better be in shape to go there. We got to a few more areas too. Your St George tour itinerary
We will meet you and your companions up at 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM at the Visitor Center within Zion National Park. Guests are responsible for entry fees. Our first trail will be along the Virgin River on the Pa'rus Trail, or The Riverside Trail, depending on crowds. Both are beautiful trails with breathtaking views. After leaving the Main Canyon we will drive to the East Side where visitor counts are usually low. We'll stop at different view areas, then head for the West Side. Our last stop will be to see the amazing scenery of Kolob Canyon, on the far western side of Zion. A short hike will take us to an amazing view area to see the blood red cliffs in the afternoon light!
