Hi there! I’m Isabelle, your multilingual tour guide in Salt Lake City and its surrounding area. I’m originally from Europe and have lived and worked on 3 continents, but I’ve been calling Utah home since 2015. My love for travelling and exploring is one of the reasons I started offering guided tours. I'm now also certified through the Utah Tour Guide Association. Utah is fascinating, whether it’s the vast vistas and unique natural landscapes, or the pioneer history and the diversity of Salt Lake City, I'm excited to share my enthusiasm and passion for this unique part of the world while you take in the sights. Whether you're interested in learning about the Mormon pioneers and history, taking in the stunning landscapes across the Great Salt Lake, or discovering Salt Lake City’s culture and historic landmarks, I'll tailor each tour to your interests. My tours are customizable to families with kids as well, to make memories that will last a lifetime. My goal is to provide an engaging, interactive, and memorable experience that leaves you with a deeper appreciation for and a different view of this remarkable part of the world. Are you visiting family or here for business, or maybe passing through on a road trip? In any case, I'll be happy to help you make the most of your visit to Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Northern Utah!

Step back in time on Ogden’s legendary Historic 25th Street, once dubbed the “most notorious street in America.” This immersive walking tour reveals how a quiet pioneer settlement became Utah’s bustling “Junction City,” where railroads, prohibition, and scandal shaped the city’s colorful past. Starting at the grand Union Station, the very reason Ogden rose to prominence, we’ll uncover stories of trappers, railroad workers, notorious madams, and the city’s first settlers. Wander past preserved 19th-century façades and learn about prohibition-era tunnels, Belle London’s “London Ice Cream Parlor,” and the speakeasies and brothels that made 25th Street both feared and famous. This tour blends the wild, the weird, and the wonderful, perfect for travelers who love history with a twist.
This tour starts at Union Station in downtown Ogden. Depending on the start time of the tour, we may visit inside this historic train station. Then it's on to Historic 25th Street. Buildings along this street hide tales of saloons, speakeasies, and rumored tunnels beneath the sidewalks. Step into the story of Belle London, one of Ogden's madams whose “London Ice Cream Parlor” masked one of the city's most infamous brothels. Walk through Electric Alley, where the “cribs” once stood, and imagine life in the city’s red-light district. From there we'll stroll to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Ogden’s oldest church still in continuous operation. The last stretch takes us down Washington Boulevard to admire the Peery’s Egyptian Theater, an architectural tribute to the 1920s, and the Ogden Municipal Building. The tour concludes with a stop at The Mercantile Café for a coffee, artisan cheese, or local beer, the perfect toast to Ogden’s rich and rebellious past.
