Discover Virginia like never before with me, a passionate storyteller and one of the most sought-after tour guides in the region. I specialize in bringing the past vividly to life, weaving together the rich threads of colonial, Revolutionary, and modern-day history across Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and beyond. As a Colonial Williamsburg Certified and Licensed Tour Guide and a National Park Service Commercial Use Authorization permit holder, I lead guests through the heart of Virginia’s most iconic historic sites. With over seven years of experience in private touring, I rank in the top 2% of guides for Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. Whether you're in the mood for a leisurely walking tour, a scenic driving journey, or even an invigorating kayak adventure, I curate unforgettable experiences tailored to your interests and pace. My clients have included politicians, CEOs, entertainers, celebrity chefs, and countless families who leave with a deeper appreciation for the hidden gems of Virginia. Get ready to: (1) Walk in the footsteps of America's earliest colonists, (2) Hear untold stories from centuries past, and (3) See history through fresh eyes, with insight, warmth, and depth. I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and a doctorate from Tulane University. My husband (whom I met at UVA!) and I raised three sons—two of whom are now completing doctorate programs just minutes from Monticello. When I’m not guiding, I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, and volunteering with laughter yoga and music therapy in local nursing homes. What sets me apart? It’s my attentiveness to each guest’s interests and needs, ensuring every tour is personalized, meaningful, and fun. Whether you're a history buff, a first-time visitor, or returning to see Virginia through new eyes—I craft an experience that sparks curiosity and leaves lasting memories.
