My parents sailed by the Statue of Liberty in 1948, seeking as millions before them, a new life filled with possibilities as they fled war ravaged Europe. Since I earned my NYC Tour Guide License in 2006, I have had the privilege to tell their story and that of New York City to countless visitors with real stories such as those my parents and family which includes persons making their living in fashion design, film making, church work, music, Real Estate and medicine. This helps give you an authentic sense of this City and region. This City holds a fascinating history and I will tell you the many stories of the City along with captivating facts and figures. My tours of the City comes alive as I share up close and personal life stories and those of the people; including myself working with firefighters as a their chaplain and at the World Trade Center with victim families and survivors. I have brought guests to almost every nook and cranny in The City in my capacity as a licensed and professional New York City Tour Guide, coordinating corporate groups, school groups, family visits, individual travelers and more. My credentials include: - New York City Tour Guide License. - Washington DC Tour Guide License. - Member of GANYC (Guide Association of New York City) - Post Secondary Degrees in History, Theology and Political Science. - Firefighter Chaplain. - Chauffeur's License. If you wish a comprehensive several day experience in the City and / or along the East Coast, please ask me to design a Custom Tour for you. We can do Washington, Philadelphia, Amish Country, Boston and even that 'natural wonder of the world', Niagara Falls! I guarantee a terrific experience. I live it; you will love it.

You will travel from your New York Hotel to Philadelphia; 'The City of Brotherly Love'. As you emerge from the tunnel that takes you under the Hudson River, you will experience a fine picturesque view of Manhattan as well as the stadium where the Jets and Giants play in the distance... The miles fly by as you head south to historic Philadelphia; the 'City of Brotherly Love'. This is a key city in the story of the United States of America because it is here that the Declaration of Independence was written and first proclaimed. . . Philadelphia holds some of the most historic sites in the USA; including the famed Liberty Bell. Included is a visit to the biggest local market, Reading Terminal Market for some authentic local flavor. The Amish Bakery donuts are simply unbelievaby good.
Philadelphia has some of the most historic spots imaginable: - Washington's home in Philadelphia. - The Freedom Bell - Independence Hall - Carpenters Hall; site of first meetings about Independence. - Benjamin Franklin's courtyard, Printing Press and Post Office. - Betsy Ross House where the first official flag was sewn - Elfreth's Alley; oldest Colonial street in the USA - Reading Terminal Market (think FOOD and bakeries!) - The "Rocky" steps and the Museum of Art.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
