We will explore the grassroots landmarks where history was made that changed the course of American history. Our journey will take us to the paths where Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. , John Lewis, and a throng of thousands walked 54 miles from Selma to the Alabama State Capital to demand Voting Rights, from Governor George Wallace. This visit will include the Cleveland Ave TIme Machine, depicting the Plessy v. s Ferguson case the inaugural segregation case on public transportation. Our visit will also include a stop at the "Greyhound Bus Station, where a mob attacked the infamous, Freedom Riders, among those who were brutally beaten was Civil RIghts Icon, John Lewis.
I will meet you at your hotel and begin our visits that will enhance your exploration of Civil Rights in Montgomery. - We will begin early morning at 8:30 a. m. as the day will be an extensive one. - Lunch will be at one of Montgomery's favorite eateries that specializes in authentic Southern-style home-cooking. - Once our day ends, we will refresh at your hotel and get ready for a delicious dinner of your appetite preference. - Return to the hotel for a good night's sleep. Remember this is a suggested itinerary, customization can be done also while on tour within the time limits.
