I’m a lifelong Milwaukee native and certified sailing instructor with a passion for showing people the best of our city, from land and water. I’ve been sailing the Great Lakes for over 20 years and am certified by the American Sailing Association as both an instructor and a Master Mariner. Whether it’s exploring Milwaukee’s harbor by sailboat or walking through our historic neighborhoods, I love sharing the stories, culture, and beauty of this city I call home. When I’m not teaching sailing or leading flotillas in the Caribbean, I’m in Milwaukee helping visitors discover its charm. I specialize ins private, small-group sailing tours that offer an unforgettable view of the skyline, shoreline, and working harbor. I also offer on-land historical tours and harbor history experiences. My tours are hands-on, personalized, and always come with local insight. From Milwaukee’s industrial heritage and hidden beach towns to fish fries, sailboats, and shoreline sunsets—I’ll help you experience the real Milwaukee, not just the guidebook version. If you’re ready for a one-of-a-kind Milwaukee experience on land or at sea, let’s create your perfect tour together.

Enjoy a relaxed private tour of Milwaukee with a lifelong local guide and local sailboat captain who knows the city’s lakefront, neighborhoods, history, and culture. This comfortable car-based tour is ideal for guests who want a personal Milwaukee experience without a lot of walking or physical effort. We’ll explore the lakefront, historic architecture, the Milwaukee Art Museum area, classic neighborhoods, beer baron history, local culture, funny stories, “Laverne & Shirley” nostalgia, and maybe even a ghost story or two. The tour can move at your pace, with easy stops for photos, views, and comfort. A stop for frozen custard or another classic Milwaukee treat can also be included. Weather permitting, this tour is designed as a comfortable private city experience.
We can begin at the Pfister Hotel, Discovery World, or another convenient Milwaukee location. From there, we’ll take a relaxed driving tour through Milwaukee’s lakefront and downtown highlights, including the Milwaukee Art Museum area, lakefront parks, historic buildings, and scenic views of Lake Michigan. We’ll continue through notable neighborhoods and share stories about Milwaukee’s brewing history, architecture, immigrant culture, local legends, and classic city character. Depending on guest interest and mobility, we can include short, easy stops for photos, frozen custard, coffee, or a quick local food experience. The tour is flexible and designed to move at a comfortable pace, typically lasting 2.5 to 3 hours.

Transportation is provided in a clean, comfortable private vehicle. Depending on guest needs and preference, transportation may be in a Ford F-150 SuperCab pickup truck or a lower-to-the-ground 4-door Subaru Crosstrek. For guests who prefer easier entry and exit, the Subaru Crosstrek is usually the best choice.
