Hello, my name is Mike and I am glad you're here. I love Mackinac Island and I want to share my love for and knowledge of Mackinac Island with you! Born and raised in Michigan, my family spent time each Summer on Mackinac Island. Since graduating from college and becoming a physical education teacher, I am now a Summer resident of Mackinac Island. It is my absolute pleasure to guide you through Mackinac Island for you to discover what makes this island such a unique and special place! Join me on a two-hour walking or biking tour, where my enthusiasm for and knowledge of Mackinac Island will combine to inform and captivate you along the way. My tours feature a uniquely local perspective on Mackinac Island history, culture, and legends, while showing you highlights and off the beaten path hidden gems. I will take you into the interior of the island to explore Mackinac Island State Park, Michigan's original national park. We will wander out of downtown and off the paved trails to the island's most special places, including Robinson's Folly, Arch Rock, Lover's Leap, Sugar Loaf, Eagle Point Cave, and Friendship Alter. While we explore, you will learn about the history and legends of these special places. In addition, my tours can be customized according to your interests. I love creating a memorable experience for everyone who takes part in my tours. Making memories is one of the reasons traveling is such a delight. It is the joy of visiting new places and experiencing different adventures. Let me help you create Mackinac Island memories. Ask questions, enjoy the scenery, and learn along the way!
