I invite you to discover my hometown, a vibrant coastal city known for its sandy beaches, historic neighbourhoods and waterfront charm. From the colourful shops of Shoreline Village to the iconic Queen Mary, Long Beach blends funky urban energy with cool ocean breezes. With its bike-friendly paths and popular water adventures, this city offers travellers a perfect mix of active fun, culture and relaxation by the sea. On this half day guided bike and kayak tour, we'll explore local art, architecture, and the laid-back California lifestyle while soaking in sunny skies and waterfront views. Experience Long Beach’s best sights and hidden gems with a local's perspective!
Your Los Angeles tour itinerary
-At first, I'll meet you for our Long Beach adventure at Shoreline Village, where we'll pick up our bikes. -Once on them, we'll ride together as I show you the best of downtown and the Long Beach waterfront, making sure we stop to take in the famous Queen Mary. -We'll then ride further along the shore, passing by Alamitos Beach. ·Afterwards, we'll head into the historic Bluff Park, which has been my home for the past twenty years. -Next, we'll stop for photos at Belmont Pier. -Later, we'll ride past Rosie’s Dog Beach. -We'll then reach Bayshore Beach (one of my favourite hangouts!), where we’ll get on our kayaks for up to an hour of scenic exploration through the picturesque canals of Naples Island. -At last, if time allowed we could wrap up the tour by enjoy an optional snack or coffee on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, home to some of my favourite restaurants and shops, before returning to Shoreline Village to say our goodbyes.
