Greetings and Aloha! My name is Noah and I have been living between Kaua'i and Japan for the last 20 years with over 12 years of experience as a private tour guide. Go on a coastal hike along lithified limestone cliff sides with gorgeous view of a bright blue Pacific Ocean to a sinkhole filled with native Hawaiian plants and beyond to a spectacular view of a beautiful bay and gumdrop shaped mountain. Keep your eyes on the sky for long tail tropic birds and others.
Your Kauai tour itinerary
This tour begins on the south side of the island at Poipu's Shipwrecks Beach. We can walk along lithified limestone cliff sides formed from ancient sand dunes containing coral and algae fossils that have hardened into rock over approximately 125,000 years. This trail will eventually lead us to the Makauwahi Sinkhole, the richest archeological site in all of Hawai'i. From above, we can look down into the sinkhole and many native plants that have been planted inside over the last 20 years or so. From there, we go further to see some of the best views on the entire island. Sit down for lunch to listen to some history and facts about the island.
