On tour with me, you will get to see why I fall in love with Hawaii every day. This is where I was born. This is where my heritage comes from. These places are special to me because as I was a little girl once growing up here, I now can share that with my girls and you! The North side is my favorite side, it's what gives me the Kauai vibes. The lushes land scape, the gorgeous views, and amazing waterfalls is just spectacular. Lets adventure my style!
Nicole was a wonderful tour guide. She is quite adventurous so she'll take you wherever your group can handle. We loved seeing areas where the locals visit. I would take this tour early in your stay on the island so you can know where you might revisit without a tour guide. I would highly recommend it to get a great overview of the north shore of the island.
Ipo was great! Picked us up where convenient for us at our VRBO - door to door service. She was early and waiting. Saw the sights. A good combination of hiking, swimming - which my adult sons enjoyed, and sitting comfortably in her vehicle as we toured around listening to her local island perspective of things, and traveling off the beaten trail at times. Found us the fresh squeezed juice that we wanted and we returned on our own the next day for more. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on.
Ipo was a fabulous tour guide. We had a wonderful day visiting all the sites of Kauai North Shore. I highly recommend Ipo and Tours By Local. My first time using them, but not the last.
We enjoyed our day with Ipo. She arrived early and kept track of the time so we accomplished everything planned. She was a good driver and shared lots of "insider" info only a local would know. We especially appreciated that Ipo went above and beyond to accommodate my husband's mobility issues without which he would not have been able to see Kuaui. Bottom line, we were fortunate to have her as our guide.
• Pick up at your accommodations. • Depending on the time of the tour will depend on the order of our adventure. Morning tours will start with a hike and end at lunch, afternoon tours will start at lunch and end with a hike. • Lunch- locally owned eatery that offers popular local dishes, and I will always take dietary needs into account. • Hike- Easy to mid-level hike, we will take it slow, get some great pictures along the way, and definitely at the viewpoint. I'll talk about local issues and historical practices of the area. • Whether we start with lunch or end with lunch you'll have some great food, a good adventure, and epic photos to remember your time on Kauai. All my tours can be customized upon request
