A unique & stunning tour led by Scott. Amazing enthusiasm and knowledge of the park led to an immersive experience of awe and discovery,,, craters, cliffs, tubes, trees, foam, ohias, and even Nene sightings! Scott brings the park to life. This is a must tour on the beautiful Big Island.
5 stars isn't enough. Great tour! Scott has an enthusiastic attitude and superior knowledge of the volcano national park. He knew where to go and where to look for the best views. We toured several sites for viewing as well as the Lava Tube and Desolation Trail. Scott also brought snacks for a mid-tour bite to keep the energy up. We had a terrific time and learned a lot. And driving into the park, the getting a parking space you can keep and having Scott drive you around really worked out best. It happened that Eruption Episode 47 occurred while we were there and Scott helped us determine the best place to be for viewing the eruption. Highly recommend the tour.
Scott is knowledgeable, helpful, fun to be with, and knows all the right places to go in the park. Can’t rate him high enough. This was our second time to tour with him.
Although it was raining, Scott worked hard to give us a great tour. We had a wonderful time seeing the steam vents, lava caves, etc. We would highly recommend Scott to others! So much fun!

Thank you Scott! Our family of four only had one afternoon to visit the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This was an incredible experience! Scott is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide. His passion for volcanoes and Hawaii was undeniable. He spoke of his own experiences with the eruptions and had very detailed knowledge about volcanoes, lava, and the island. We had a terrific tour and saw many places that we would have absolutely missed with our park map in hand. We learned so much from Scott and genuinely enjoyed his company. The communication about the meeting place was effortless and the tour in his truck was a bonus! We even found Scott on You Tube once upon our return - the posts and pictures will help us stay connected to this experience. Our only regret was not leaving enough time to see more of this beautiful park.... we'll be back! A big thank you to Scott!!
