Overview of your Fresno tour
The first time I viewed the Safari I was AMAZED. . . breathtaking. Allow me to excite you at the Chaffee Zoo in Fresno, California. Though you'll experience every habitat, the main feature in this tour is the African Safari. This is the best deal for any group size of up to 8 people as your guide gives you access to additional attractions within the zoo at no extra cost to you. All you have to do is stick with your guide. This tour is an a-la-cart zoo option from The Day Is Mine Tour - Fresno. Upon arriving at the zoo the guide will meet you at the zoo entrance to begin the walking tour. No need to wait in line as your guide will be able to give you access as you stick with them. This tour provides you and your group of up to 8 people including kids, in-person direction within the zoo and history about the development of Roeding park (the zoo is located in the historic Roeding Park). I'm a local enthusiast so you'll experience passionate commentary.

At this point the tour guide will depart at 12 noon. This tour can be customized upon request

This is a walking tour. Travelers will meet the guide at Chaffee Zoo entrance located inside of Roeding Park. Extra Tips: The park entrance fee per vehicle is $5. You may park across the street or next to the park and walk into the park for free. The zoo has 2 entrances: Olive or Belmont street entrance. The zoo is near the Belmont street entrance. If you park or enter the Olive entrance you will have to drive about 1 minute or walk about 10 minutes within the park to get to the Chaffee Zoo entrance.
