My passion for adventure began in high school when I first heard about the Appalachian Trail. Trekking 2,180 miles through 14 states was exactly the challenge I was seeking. After four years in the army, I hiked the trail for six unforgettable months. My love for exploring on foot soon expanded to biking, and the following year, I biked across the USA and parts of New Zealand, eventually learning that biking around the world was possible. After university, I embarked on a global journey, biking 18,000 miles across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. My adventure was filled with incredible experiences and challenges, including a car accident in Tibet that resulted in a broken femur and a month-long hospital stay. Undeterred, I moved to Taiwan and China, where I earned a master’s degree in Chinese studies, taught, and started offering biking and hiking tours. What began as free tours evolved into organized, paid trips, mainly in the Tibetan regions of Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan, and other areas. After the pandemic and changes in China, I returned to the USA and brought my expertise to Colorado, offering unique tours like those I once led abroad. Colorado is a top destination, with stunning natural beauty like the Rocky Mountains, national parks, and outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and whitewater rafting. Vibrant cities like Denver and Boulder offer rich cultural attractions, including Red Rocks Amphitheater, art districts, and historic sites. Visitors can explore mining towns, Old West heritage, Native American history, and relax in hot springs. With year-round activities, from wildflower hikes to winter sports, and a thriving food and drink scene, Colorado has something for everyone. I offer a range of tours, from hiking and snowshoeing in the Rockies, city and scenic bike tours of downtown, Red Rocks and Golden, and "Denver in a Day" experiences featuring Red Rocks Amphitheater and Golden, to food and true crime city tours. My Denver in a Day tour explores the city’s highlights, including Red Rocks, Dinosaur Ridge, Golden, and the RiNo Art District, with options to customize the route. My hiking tours offer immersive experiences in the Rockies, with trails at high elevations (9000 ft or more) and varying difficulties. My camping tours can be based near the vehicle or deep in the wilderness, depending on your preferences. For a fun city experience, my 10-mile bike tour covers key spots in Denver, including the Five Points and RiNo Art Districts, Union Station, and the Colorado State Capitol. For countryside tours, I'll pick you up from your accommodation and drive to scenic bike trails, like the one starting at Castle Rock Canyon, passing landmarks like Nemrick Butte, and continuing along the Santa Fe Bike Trail to Colorado Springs, with an option to visit the Garden of the Gods. The evening food tour takes you through Denver’s vibrant culinary scene, visiting four spots for delicious dishes and drinks. You’ll also learn about Denver’s history and vibrant food scene while passing stunning murals in RiNo. Our flexible tours allow you to choose the dishes, from tacos to sushi, and everything in between. As the owner and lead guide, I’m passionate about showing you Colorado’s most scenic and extraordinary places. With many spots often crowded, traveling with a local who knows hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path locations makes all the difference. Our tours are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts seeking active adventures and are flexible to suit your group’s specific needs. We also offer custom and multi-day tour options, along with a free travel guide packed with recommendations for the best places to see, hike, eat, drink, and more. We will pick you up and return you to wherever your staying. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Rocky Mountain National Park and the Stanley Hotel, both located near Estes Park, Colorado, offer iconic experiences blending natural beauty and historic charm. The park spans 415 square miles of rugged peaks, alpine meadows, shimmering lakes, and diverse wildlife like elk and moose. With over 350 miles of trails, it’s a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering everything from serene walks around Bear and Emerald Lakes to challenging ascents like Longs Peak. Trail Ridge Road provides panoramic vistas, and each season brings its own magic—spring wildflowers, vibrant summer hikes, golden fall aspens, and tranquil snow-covered winters. The Stanley Hotel, a historic Colonial Revival gem built in 1909, was once a luxury resort and health retreat. Famous for inspiring Stephen King's The Shining, it’s known for its grand architecture, stunning mountain views, and reputation as one of the most haunted hotels in the U.S., making it a must-visit for history buffs and ghost enthusiasts alike.
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the USA, but its size and timed entry system can make planning tricky. I make the journey easy and stress-free. Our adventure begins with a 90-minute drive to the historic Stanley Hotel, the inspiration for Stephen King’s The Shining. Next, we’ll head to the park, stopping briefly at the visitor center and souvenir shop before visiting a scenic cascade for lunch—sandwiches in summer or a warm meal in winter. Depending on the season and group preferences, we’ll either drive up Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in the U.S., for sweeping views, or explore beautiful alpine lakes with optional hikes. In winter, we’ll visit the Bear Lake Corridor for snowy trails and stunning vistas. Keep an eye out for elk and other wildlife on this flexible, unforgettable tour before heading back to Denver.
