Hello, my name is Joan. I am an experienced and licensed Tour Guide. I provide sightseeing tours throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City and New England. I do walking, bus, and private car tours for 4-50 people. Background: I was born in New York City, and raised in Westchester County (Lower Hudson Valley). I have a B. A. in History from Briarcliff College, an A. A. S. Degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an M. A. S. Degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute. I taught Art History at the State University of New York while in graduate school. I have worked in Tribal Communities for 22 years to help organize education and economic development programs and helped raise funding for the programs.
